Ironsage - Day 3

Good evening! When I came out of my home, I noticed a new letter had arrived. It was from Gulliver, and as promised, he had sent me a souvenier from his travels to London. It was a Big Ben model. I actually really like London, and I've been there before - I really like the model!

Today, I heard from Isabelle that a new villager had moved in: Rodney! I went over to his place to meet him. As I saw yesterday, his plot plans were right in front of my house... A little bit of a nuisance, but I was excited to meet him nonetheless.

He was quite a sweet little hamster. He seemed just as excited to meet me as I was to meet him! He'd recently heard about the new changes taking place in Ironsage, and wanted to be apart of them. That made me very happy, and glad I could serve such amazing townsfolk.

Although we wanted to continue to chat, he was busy and had to continue unpacking. As much as I wanted to help him out, I needed to get back to work on getting the town approved... So I bid him farewell and left him to finish his unpacking.

Part of what Isabelle recommended to me for gaining more of the citizen's approval was to simply meet up and talk with them. I hadn't been fully acquainted with too many of them, so I thought this would be a great opportunity to get to know some of my new neighbors. First of all, I went to visit Drake. He gave me some advice on sending letters... I thought it was cool how he'd themed all of his furniture. Lots of green!

Then, I went on to Pierce's house. He'd also themed her furniture, including lots of blues and yellows throughout. He seemed highly athletic and very strong. He was ready to do anything! I thanked him for his advice, and noticed Bettina was also wandering around his home. I must've not noticed her before, oops.. She is a mouse afterall, so she must've been hiding from me. x)

We'd already talked before, but it was a lot of fun to see her again. She's very cute, and ends off most of her sentences with 'eekers...' sometimes a little too often, but she was nice enough to put that aisde. We had a quick chat about clothes, and some business within the town.

Lastly, I bumped into Blaire as I was traveling to sell some items at the Recycle Shop. She wanted to give me a new nickname. I can't quite remember the one she suggested now, and hopefully I won't be regretting that later when she calls me by it...

It's been a long day, so I've decided to end it off here. It's been fun talking to some of the villagers and meeting new faces. Can't wait for more!
