I stepped out of my house late in the evening, and bumped into Bettina on my way to the Plaza, where the event was being held. She seemed plenty excited about watching the beautiful fireworks, just like I was. We had a little chat, discussing the weather and all that; it's the perfect weather for watching them!
Once I arrived at the plaza, I bought a couple of fortune cookies from Redd. The first was a dud ticket, but the next one I purchased was a lucky prize! I would've bought more, but... I was getting fairly low on cash. x) They were rather expensive for 500 bells, too. Ah well, that's to be expected from a shady figure like Redd...
Isabelle gazed up at the fireworks smiling, wearing a pretty cherry blossom frock. Speaking of which, I should've dressed a bit fancier for the occassion... oops! None of the other villagers dressed up, so I didn't feel too badly about it.
Isabelle gave me a Bulb Bopper hat to celebrate the occasion. I thought they were great -- who doesn't want a glowing headband? Now I can pretend to be a firework, woo! Which would've been odd, should I have tried that. I would've probably got a few stares from the townspeople... there's always next year to be that strange mayor!
She also gave me a fountain firework, which I set off nearby the train tracks. Weeee! In the photo I snapped, it looks as if the firework above is attached... how cool would that be? Unfortunately, once it's over, you get to keep the used up fountain firework, and you've got to trash that somehow... It was pretty while it lasted!
As I took a final walk through town, to enjoy the fireworks from all over with the villagers, I noticed that a new resident was moving in: T-Bone! His house placement isn't too bad... It's a couple of the others that aren't allowed that bother me. I'll figure out a way around that, eventually. I couldn't wait to meet him, and to welcome him to the town!
That's all for tonight, thank you for reading about my day in AC! :) I hope you enjoyed the fireworks in Animal Crossing tonight, and are looking forward to September! Fall begins tomorrow, so keep a look out for some special events, coming soon!
