Ironsage - Day 10

In Ironsage, it was a warm, sunny evening. The day before, I had planted a lot of flowers around my house, a few that I'd been collecting from the Flower Shop. I enacted the Beautiful Town ordiance. Some might say it's better to use the ordinances like the Bell Boom one, or the Late Owl one if you're trying to utilize them to get ahead in the game, but one of my priorities is to keep the town looking nice, and this'll help me do so!

I took a quick stroll down to the beach, and to my surprise, Gulliver was there yet again. Yeesh, he must crash a lot... He told me he was headed to the birthplace of Mr. Nobel, who created the Nobel Peace Prize... he's headed to Sweden, of course! (I completely didn't Google that!)

I went to the Town Hall to look through some of the projects we could start here in Ironsage, but I was surprised to find out that the villagers wanted to hold a celebration to honor the new design-sign outside my house. I was thrilled! Everyone got out party poppers, and even though it was a short celebration, it was certainly sweet!

I headed back to the Island today, as I wanted to try out of the Island Tours. I ended up earning quite a few... they can be a little bit addicting, or maybe that's just me. I earned enough to buy a Club Tortimer membership. Now I'll be able to play on an island with other crossers, around the world.

That's all that happened today, nothing of particular excitement, but it was nice to take a short rest from the rigors of mayorhood. I can't wait to build some more projects, and to collect some more of the island-exclusive items. Lots to do, lots to do! :P
