Ironsage - Day 7

Finally, today has arrived and I can finally take some baby steps to get the town in motion. So far that'll include mostly watering flowers, planting a few trees, and making bells so the big works can start to take shape. I noticed an empty plot today, nearby the Town Hall, belonging to Gruff. I've seen him before in Wild World... he's a rather grumpy goat, yuck...

I'll get to meet him tomorrow, I suppose. Nearby, I saw Sahara -- awesome! Funny enough, I had exactly 3000 bells on me for her to "refurbish" my walls and floor... I always leave about 3k on me and deposit the rest in the bank. I've always wondered what the faraway land she speaks of is...

I paid up my bells and left Sahara to work on my home. It's fairly concerning when your house is shaking from the outside, with a lot of crashing and banging. I let her do her work, anyhow. I just had to hope my house wouldn't come crashing down!

She smiled and left, and then I went inside to examine her handy work. The flooring wasn't too bad, in all honesty... I think I'll use that for the moment, at least while I'm low on furniture. The walls, though; they could use some serious work. I changed those back as soon as I saw the blue tarp.

After Sahara worked her magic, I decided to head over to Nook's and work on some real house renovations, as this little home is quite cramped. Soon I'll be collecting items, and there's not nearly enough space to hold everything I need to. It'll take a lot of expensive renovations to complete, but the outcome should be worth the work.

While in the shopping center, I bumped into Blaire, who was speeding through the shops in search of a good deal. I hadn't talked to her since I came back, which she wasn't too pleased about at first. But, she soon forgave me and we had a little chit-chat together.

Lastly, I stopped by the Town Hall to check the progress on the town-development permit. Sure enough, it was finished! I can officially start public works projects. Don't know which I'll choose first just yet. I'm hoping the get the Dream Suite as soon as possible, so I can get my town's Dream Code... There isn't much to look at just yet, but it'll be worth it in the near future.

Have a good aftternoon, and good luck to anyone else with a town in the works! I hope all is going your way in the game, and in the real world. :)
