Ironsage - Day 38

It was a bright day here in Ironsage today. Lots of villagers were wandering about, enjoying the day's nice weather. It's best they do - it's only going to get colder from here! Last night, I paid off the money in order to build the cafe. And voila! A new cafe appeared here in town. :) Isabelle, myself, and many of the other villagers welcomed Brewster and his excellent coffee-making skills!

I grabbed my first cup of coffee from him, at the grand opening. He brewed it up there and then, and poured into a porcelain cup, setting it gently down onto the counter. I took a sip, and I have to admit: that's a real good cup of coffee. Thanks for moving to town, Brewster!

Kapp'n was also checking out the new coffee shop. It must be hard work, traveling back and forth from town to town, and island to island. He was chatting a lot more than drinking his coffee, though... and I could tell Brewster was giving him somewhat of a stink eye, because he thinks coffee should be drank while it's steaming hot.

I went to Labelle's section of the Able Sisters to see if there were any more halloween masks to buy. Sure enough, there was one I hadn't bought yet - the ghost mask! I'm hoping to get all of them, so I can scare each and every one of my villagers. :P

I also paid off my current mortgage to Tom Nook, and I've decided on having a new room to the left. My main room and the upstairs are getting a little bit cluttered... I'm hoping to expand the upstairs next, so I can pack in the rest of the furniture series, as well as possibly some of the DLC items.

Speaking of DLC items, I was actually at one of the Play Nintendo Tour's stops - I had no idea what was going on at first, but there it was. I quickly ran home to grab my DS, and I got a whole lot of StreePasses, some from the staff and others from many Nintendo fans. :D Quite a few of them played AC:NL, so I got to order furniture from their houses in the HRA showcase. I may post about them eventually.

To end off the day, I conversed with some of the townsfolk. T-Bone said that Gruff had come by and complained about his house, saying it lacked furniture and decorations. I've seen T-Bone's house and it's honestly not so bad... Each to their own, I suppose. Or Gruff might think he has design-sense, but really doesn't. I grabbed some furniture for him to use anyway.

Have a good evening. :) If you want to share your town, like your Dream Address or any things that you've experienced, feel free to comment about it. I'm sure others would like to hear about it!
