Ironsage - Day 40

I started off playing AC today just before most of the shops shut for the night - so I had to speed through some of my daily tasks. :P Ah, homework... how bittersweet you are. I want to do you so I can do well in school, but yuck, you're just a little bit boring at times. I went to grab a coffee after my mad spree through town, and Brewster will be offering to-go cups tomorrow. Awesome!

Since I've been wearing the same dress for a few days now (ew! lucky you can't really get dirty in Animal Crossing... by now, I would've had a couple fleas following me) so I went to the Able Sister's to grab some new clothes. I wouldn't say it's the most fashionable outfit, but the shorts and shirt were at least comfortable clothes. Go Luigi!

Redd was at the Plaza, so I ran in to grab one of his paintings. It's too bad he won't let you buy more that one per visit, though I suppose that'd make it too easy to collect them all. I was a bit of a cheater and pulled out a nifty guide to help me determine if they were authentic.

Pierce asked me to deliver a package to Rodney, which contained an item he'd asked for. I gladly took it over to Rodney's home. It was a bear t-shirt, and it made him an event sweeter little mouse. He gave me his old camel shirt that he was wearing before.

I stopped by Retail, and I saw that Bettina had put up a stained-glass lamp up for sale. I thought how cute that could be if I customized it. Cyrus suggested I make it blue, which can go with my Alpine theme! I'm planning to change the patterns on the alpine furniture to something blue-ish, maybe a cute pattern of sorts... can't wait to see how the lamp turns out!

To my surprise, Phineas was wandering about the lower half of my town. He gave me the "Good Samaritan" badge for doing so many requests for villagers. I have a tendency to forget requests that I accept, so I found it a little bit funny to be receiving this. Nonetheless, I'm working on earning other badges right now, too!

Have a good night! I hope things are going your way in the realms of Animal Crossing. I can't believe I've been the mayor of Ironsage for over 40 days already! Time is certainly flying, and there's lots of work yet to be done. I'm still really excited to help the town take shape. What I've done so far is just the beginning. There's lots of PWPs to complete, flowers to breed, and badges to earn... If you can't tell already, I'm still really excited!
