Ironsage - Day 42

When I headed onto AC this evening, the first thing I wanted to check was the lamp I'd asked Cyrus to customize. Seems it completely slipped my mind. Oh well! The wait was worth it. When I arrived, I was presented with a beautiful blue lamp with a cute purple fish engraved into one of the mosaic pieces. I gotta say, I love it. Whether it clashes with my furniture, it's going in my house.

On the topic of houses, I decided to do a bit more organizing. Knowing me, keeping something the same for a long time often makes me think it's "unorganized" because I want a change. But, I took some time to de-clutter a few of my rooms and move the themes around to where I wanted them. First off, I moved my modern wood furniture into my room on the left, as I think I'll be using this as my guest room for the time being. Smack that "read more" button to learn more!

I shifted around some of my Alpine furniture in my main room, hoping to get it in a somewhat better layout... It's still fairly awkward, and the few clashing DLC items don't look so great either, but I don't have a better spot for them to go on display just yet.

Finally, I moved my minimalist furniture onto my top floor, as well as a few of the miscellaneous things I had in my main room. I don't know what I'm planning to do with this room just yet, but first things first... it's in serious need of an expansion!

To end off my day with a relaxing cup of joe, I went down to the cafe. To my surprise, Phyllis was sitting down just before her shift began at the post office. She really hates it there, especially talking to the customers... Actually, I think she just doesn't like people in general. I had a quick chat with her, and by quick, it was really just an acknowledgement. She said she didn't want me to sit down next to her, and told me that she loved her coffee bitter, without a single grain of sugar.

Well, thankfully there's some kinder souls in the midst of Ironsage. I'll talk with a few of them tomorrow. Have a good night, and I hope your Animal Crossing endeavors are going well. :)
