A Few Animal Crossing Finds
Recently, I stumbled across a few neat little Animal Crossing bits: some old and some new. With Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer coming out in North America in just a couple days time, I thought it'd be worth talking about a couple things... (just a general review and sort-of-a story time, please don't think I'm a show off! :P)
First of all, and probably most importantly, I found the actual Happy Home Designer Guidebook at a Japanese Market nearby; I was lucky to come across it, as it appeared to be the last one! It's in Japanese of course (which I can't read, but awesome if you can!) but it's very neat and colorful on the inside, and it's easy enough on most things to get inspiration from the pictures alone.
It's possible that there'll be an English version coming soon - though I suppose it depends on the game's success. The funny thing is that it's about 3x the size of my AC:NL Guidebook... even though it's a much smaller game. It goes into a lot of detail!
Secondly, I found a little Amiibo Card Holder online which will be useful for holding the new cards that can be used in Happy Home Designer itself. It's very cute and the cover art is nice, though unfortunately, despite there being 100 total AC Amiibo cards in Series 1 alone, the holder itself only holds 20 (If you want to display two back to back in a pocket, that is; there's 10 plastic pockets total.)
If you're intending on collecting all of the cards, this might not be ideal, but it's a good storage case for any you do get with the game + if you get any additional packs. There's always potential that they'll bring out a full collection album.
Lastly, in the bottom of my drawer I found an old Bluebear Plushie I recieved for my birthday a few years ago. It was good to find her again, it'd been a while: and now she's got a comfy spot upon my bed! Nothing new, she's actually back from the Wild World days. :P
